Spacious- Quick update before I pass out for some serious napping. Was cleaning my room yesterday (and will continue today), and ended up moving around a lot of things. My back is sore, my thumb is constantly throbbing (jammed it in the fucking vacuum lmao), and yeah. Just plain tired, I guess. But at least there's improvement. My room looks so neat and tidy *A* I just hope I can keep it this way.

Tired- Been a little up and down lately. I think I'm worrying too much about these darn essays. I just want them to be over with. But I don't want to rush them either *sigh* -It's all good though. I'm not getting depressed about it. I'm just a little too tired for my liking and it's making me think too much.

LJ- I forgot how time-consuming LJ was to keep up with ;A; But it's nice to hear from you guys again, and read up on some interesting news. The art is like a bonus <3

In other news, I didn't go to school today. I was going to have a nap last night so I could wake up and work on some stuff, but I ended up sleeping all through that. Then this morning I was watching Star Wars episode 5 (instead of getting ready for school;;), which is plain weird, because Star Wars.. Well I've never actually liked it, but I was really into it today! Then I started watching episode 6. I don't remember what happened, but I guess I fell asleep because I woke in the afternoon. -But besides that, I think I might get into Star Wars. I was really itching to draw fanart while watching it.

And about school.. Like I said in my last journal, I'll be able to graduate my art classes if I manage to complete 4-5 written assignments. So I was given a date yesterday, and apparently I have to get them done by next month. Hopefully I'll be able to manage, but I really think I can pull it off as long as I concentrate. So I probably won't have any new art for a couple of weeks. Wish me luck.

Update- It's obvious I need one. Jeez. I join one site and forget the other. That's what I hate most about the internet/online life; It's hard to keep up with things. -Ignoring that for the moment though, third term has started for me. I can pass my art classes if I manage to hand in 4-5 written assignments (essays BARGHKLAEJWFA!) by the end of the school year. Sounds simple enough, but that's the one thing I suck at. Thankfully my brother was kind enough to offer assistance, because apparently while he was in college he was only good with his written assignments, while he failed to hand in artwork, haha;; Wow.

So it's 2:30AM and at the moment I'm trying to not get distracted from writing this first essay on Naoko Takeuchi. Which I'm obviously already failing because I wouldn't be here typing up a journal otherwise. *sigh* But school has been fun. Yesterday our art class had to set up artwork in the NPC (like a hall?) room for some parent-teacher meeting shit. It was just nice to do something simple rather than be forced to write essays right away. -But it hurt. Because the first day back at school, I ended up walking home in the rain, wearing my legs out in the process. So now my legs are all achey and it hurts to walk. I'm pretty sure I was walking sideways at some point yesterday.

Oh, and did anyone watch the first episode to the new season of Heroes? Kickass yo. But what happened to Mohinder?! Why isn't he narrating like usual? That's the only thing that really bothered me. lol.

Alright, gonna try get back to my essay writing. I'll try update here more, but I'm not making any promises because I totally lied the first couple of times I mentioned it. Have some tegaki-ness:

Re-color- I finally did it. I made myself a new default icon (Naoto), and re-colored my last layout! Boy, I am so pro at design, lol. I just hope the colors are a little more easier on the eyes to the black and pink combination =/ -I've been meaning to update for a while now, but last week I was at my dad's. And when it was finally home time, I catch a cold! *denies having the flu* Not that it stopped me from coming online, of course OTL;;

Theme?

Theme- I'm wondering if I should change the layout of my LJ. I don't mind the black and pink, because personally I quite like those two colors together. But after a while, it gets kinda dull, right? -Also I'm kind of sick of seeing my Rolo icon (I love Rolo!). My spriting skills fail, so seeing that pixel-face kinda pisses me off!

What kind of theme should I go for? Maybe I should change it to Naoto? Naoto needs more advertising. He's my most favorite OC of mine ;3; -I feel like drawing him right now actually. I can't seem to be motivated to work on anything else at the moment.

Tuesday- What a long (and wasteful) day. Even though I went to bed 2-4 hours earlier than usual, I still woke up around lunch time. Which pisses me off extremely. -And I promised myself I'd do something productive. Like working on overdue commissions! However, that didn't turn out very well because I really wanted to practice drawing males that actually looked male! After a while a finally got lazy and just spent the rest of the evening watching movies with my mom OTL;;

Maybe I need rest. I've been going to bed too late recently, which is never really good for you. I'm thinking of heading in early tonight (it's only 9:30PM omg!) so hopefully when I wake up later or tomorrow I'll be able to start on some work ;3;

Artblock Season?- Well ain't that just great. I revive my LJ and one of my first topics I have to share has to be the despair I'm currently feeling. I mean it just HIT me. JUST NOW while doing nothing in particular. I just suddenly felt like I couldn't draw. And just an hour ago or so I was drawing just fine and actually liked the outcome. -Now, however.. golly, I haven't had an artblock in forever. I forgot just how depressed it makes me feel. Usually during an artblock I'm still capable of drawing (unlike some people who can't even pick up a pen!), but I never like the end result.. I don't like it!

Anyway, I don't want to make a big rant or anything because I only thought of this now and I can't be sure that it's an actual art block just yet. Maybe I'm tired. Or maybe I just wanted something to post, I don't know. -On another note I recieved another package today. More of that "cutesy" crap I love to waste my money on. Memo pads and a kappa plushie that is just.. so fucking adorable OTL" -I actually wanted to take some photos, but it's late now so the pictures wouldn't turn out that great, lol.

Well, I guess I'm just going to go to bed.. and rape the shit out of my sketchbooks. (I must draw something!).

Activation!- Well, sorta. Certainly haven't posted here in a while. I mean my last post was last Christmas for God's sake, lmao. I guess I could blame it on my lack of interesting topics. Or my constant need to join newer sites and spamming the heck out of them (curse you, twitter! xD). And just the other day I started getting back into facebook! Stupid family. They're all joining and spamming and, ugh. My brother thinks this is a competition to see who can get the most friends. I still have the most, but I've had my account for a year or so now, and he only joined the other day and is already close to beating me. -Even worse, he's chosen not to add online friends or strangers, and strictly IRL people. -I just add EVERYONE, so it makes me look like the loser already xD; Jerk.

Alright, so onto another topic I got the doujins I bought from jpqueen in the mail today. I fucking love getting mail. Makes me feel like a child on their Birthday getting ready to open their presents xD; Anyway, in the package were a couple TaiKou (Digimon) doujins, and a 5927 doujin for myself. I also bought a couple ZoSan (One Piece) doujins that I'll be sending to a friend <3 -Deciding which doujins to kill my wallet on is so hard for me. I've never been good at shopping, so indecisive. I usually end up buying the ones with the cute covers OTL;; -How do you guys decide which good doujins to buy? =A=

Mmm. That was basically how my day went. Flipping through doujins I can't even read, haha. Oh, and I've been listening to a few songs on repeat as well. Fairytale by Alexander Rybak -Norway representitive winner from Eurovision '09 -Such a good song. I could listen to that booming voice and catchy violin tune all day! -Yesterday I downloaded Japan's and England's 'Marukaite Chikyuu' versions that came with the second Hetalia DVD vol. Oh god. Japan's is so cute! He sings so fast at the start, it sounds like he's only just catching up with the tune xD -England's is awesome too. I can't help but think of Sasuke when I listen to it though. The way he says 'mommy' makes me giggle too <3

Christmas- To those of you on my side of the world, Merry Christmas! <3

I've been meaning to update for the last couple of days now, but once again I've screwed up my body-clock, and it's hard to sort out what I want to actually say when I'm feeling sluggish most of the time. -Right now it's already 12:30AM, so I'm going to try to be quick with this so I can get some sleep before the actual celebrating with family begins. It's going to be a long day.

I just wanted to say that I hope you all have a wonderful day whether you do or do not celebrate this holiday. Even if your day doesn't go as planned, at least by the end of it, you'll realize that this was just another day of the year.

Home + Meme

Home- Well I'm back at my mom's, finally. I thought I would go crazy without having the chance to update. -When we arrived earlier we found a car parked outside the front our house, and when dad and Trudy (sort of like my step-mom) asked who it might be, I suggested it could be mormons. Guess who was right? I WAS! -It sucked for my older brother because they were only really there to see him. Something about a picnic, lolz.

Anyway, when we got inside, mom kept pestering me to open up a present, because she always lets us open presents early. They were only small things, so I said okay, thinking it might be the chocolate her friends in America always send her. OH GOD WAS I HAPPY AFTER RIPPING ONLY A LITTLE OF THE WRAPPING PAPER. -Turns out my Code Geass R2 Prop Plus Petit figures (mom bought them for me as my Christmas present <3) came in the mail today!

So I was allowed to open them all (they were wrapped so nicely, too;;) since my brothers kinda already got their gifts, and mom helped me open the boxes (they were glued) as neatly as possible. After that I had fun slicing open the plastic each were kept in and putting them together one by one. Here are some photos (A little blurry OTL):

To be honest, I only really wanted the Rolo figure; but since it was so rare to find, I had to buy the whole set. I'd originally planned to save up and buy it on my own, but mom insisted, and I'm happy that she did -I love them so much! <33 >u<

The last picture there is of my Code Geass iDolls (in comparison to the PPP figures, they're huge!) I bought at the beginning of the year at AI-con. I got them both by chance, so I was really lucky! -This was before I knew of the second season and Rolo, so I kinda supported SuzakuxLelouch.

Well that's that. Enough fangirling, lmao.

-Posted those chibis in the Hetalia community without feeling too nervous about it.
-Older brother was making funny faces. Made everyone laugh for ages xD;
-Manipulated a photo of Richard Dean Anderson (I love this guy!) with the help of my older brother.

So that's my week's worth of happiness! It's actually quite challenging to remember to note them down. You guys should give this meme a shot <3

Designs + Meme

Designs- Just before in MSN I was spamming bakalildevil with a collection of chibi characters from various fandoms. I've decided that I want to start designing badges/keychains. No specific reason. It's just for fun. -I know how people practically kill themselves to get their designs done in time for a convention. So I figured if I started working on them now, I wouldn't have to worry about all that deadline stuff! *smirks*

I have many chibi styles, so it's going to be hard choosing which might be most suitable. But my mind is thinking big desu eyes and uber smooth roundness. I've always been a fan for thumbnail chibis.

Effects- I was going through a few pictures I've drawn in the last couple of weeks; I swear, the way I draw/color most of the time is too light that it's hardly visible. I want my images to be more nice and crisp. Stand out a little more. I can get away with adding effects and whatnot, but I really gotta work on it a bit more.

Ban- So a couple of months back I came across a little something concerning the Australian government and a certain 'ban' that was said to initiate sometime in 2009. And again yesterday, I find people on dA posting about the same issue. Now I don't usually care much for all that political crap, but honestly. Deciding to 'ban' sites that may be deemed 'inappropriate'? That's technically the whole internet! If parents don't want their kids 'accidentally' getting linked to porn sites, then it's their responsibility to sureveillance what they do online. Don't punish the whole fucking country for it!

Sleepy- The past couple of days I've been finding myself up through the late hours of the night until 5-6AM and sleeping in until after lunch time. 4koma- I have this 4koma idea that I've had for the past couple of weeks or so. I have the main character designs down (no names yet), as well as the main plot. I just need to work out the inside plot a little more.

So the main plot is about -insert name- (the boy with the blue-ish hair) who comes across two kids around his age street-performing when walking home one day. They get into a little tumble and the older twin (yes, they're twins) falls unconscious and so the other two take him back to -insert name-'s apartment where he finds out that the twins have run away from home. Basically they ask if they can live with him, and he can't help but say yes. Weird shit ensues! (omg cliché!)
